Each Package contains 100 grams of Wildcrafted Eucheuma Cottonii also know as Gold Sea Moss. When ordering 500 grams or more we will dispatch the product in unlabelled resealable pouches.
Our gold Eucheuma Cottonii sea moss is of the highest quality you can get; it rehydrates easily and makes an almost transparent gel. Its colour is natural and it has lightened by the sun drying process. The sea moss is dried in the sun for 4 to 8 days to remove moisture whilst retaining potency.
It has incredible gelling strength, so if you are looking to make sea moss gel, this variety will make more gel per unit of sea moss than any other species. Like our other varieties, Eucheuma Cottonii has all the minerals and antioxidants you need to improve your health.
Our Raw Sea Moss is sourced from our harvesting sites in Union island and Mayreau, part of the Southern Grenadines, mostly unpopulated and virgin Caribbean Islands.
Eucheuma Cottonii is one of the most potent herbs available. In fact, it got its name because people during the Irish famine in the 1800s began to eat sea moss so they wouldn't starve. It has been used for centuries to promote overall health.
