Our gold Irish sea moss is of the highest quality you can get; it rehydrates easily and makes an almost transparent gel. Its colour is natural and it has lightened by the sun drying process. The sea moss is dried in the sun for 4 to 8 days to remove moisture whilst retaining potency.
It has excellent gelling strength, so if you are looking to make sea moss gel, this variety will make substantial gel per unit of sea moss. Like our other varieties, Chondrus Crispus has all the minerals and antioxidants you need to improve your health.
Our Raw Sea Moss is sourced from our harvesting sites in Ireland and Scotland. It grows wild in the cold North-Atlantic waters
